Spirit Paintings

There watercolors and acrylic paintings explore realms beyond logic. I think we presume to know too much, dismissing what we cannot explain as unreal. Exploring the unexplained is meditative and mind expanding.

Inspiration for these paintings came from readings, dreams or sketches. Some are adaptations from plein air paintings. For figurative paintings I often use existing sculptures as my models.
